Event Description
This year's DukeNJ and DukeNY joint partnership offers a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and meet new ones.
There will be ample social time to socialize while enjoying tapas, desserts, and wine & sangria.
Shavar D. Jeffries, Duke alumnus ('96) and CEO of the KIPP Foundation, will also be present as guest speaker.
KIPP is a national network of tuition-free public schools educating 120,000 students in grades Prek-12 across 21 states and Washington, DC.
Mr. Jeffries, who was awarded the Beyond Duke Award for Outstanding Service to Society, has been an advocate for social justice and educational equity for more than two decades.
