Event Description

In celebration of the start of Black History Month, please join Mayor Andre Sayegh and the Paterson City Council for the Pan African Flag raising.

This event will also include musical performances, poem reading, and more to commemorate the achievements and accolades of African Americans.

Established in 1926 by historian Carter G. Woodson; Black History Month reflects on the struggles, highlights the triumphs, and provides inspiration to future generations.
