Event Description

Akwaaba Gallery is a hidden visual arts jewel in Newark's West Ward, where all are welcome. 

The Annual Kente Ball & Art Auction features delicious cuisine and music from the African Diaspora with an open bar.  

Stay for the atmosphere and dancing, and leave with a one-of-a-kind piece of fine art that will light up your home!

This event is intended for adults only.

The dress code is semi-formal African or evening attire.

Tickets are limited, so it is recommended you buy your tickets early.
