Event Description

Learn about award-winning artist and illustrator Faith Ringgold, while creating a piece of fabric art inspired by her story quilts. 

Known for her influential works in the fields of quilting, painting, and storytelling, Ringgold's work often reflected themes of identity, race, and feminism.

As a female African American artist, she has been a prominent voice in the art world and her catalog speaks even louder. 

This event is intended for ages 6 to 12. 

Registration is recommended.
