Event Description

Discover the rich visual and narrative tapestry of Chinatown through the lens of photographer Andria Lo and writer Valerie Luu.

Her work presents a vibrant homage to the elderly Chinese of North America with the book, "Chinatown Pretty", crafted from five years of dedicated photography and storytelling. 

Delve into the elegance and stories of these individuals that embody the spirit of their communities.

You'll have the chance to bring in photos of your elders and create portrait drawings that celebrate their histories and contributions.

This program will be held in person and live on Zoom and YouTube!

Registration closes 15 minutes before the event. Only people who register will receive the zoom link and password to enter the class 15 minutes before the event begins. To protect the Zoom call from outside interference, please register with your name and email.
