Event Description
"The One and Only Dick Gregory" gives a comprehensive, retrospective, and thoughtful commentary, highlighting how the comedy icon's contributions extended far beyond the stage.
Filmmaker Andre Gaines examines the remarkable life and career of stand-up comic, actor, and activist Dick Gregory with a thoughtful film about a politically committed artist that doesn't shorten the politics or the art but instead examines how one fueled the other.
This film is Rated NR.
There will be a post screening Q&A with Dr. Christian Gregory, eighth child of Dick and Lillian Gregory and the film editor and ACME Board Member Patrick Murphy.
The Essential Dick Gregory book (only 50 copies) will be available when you purchase with your ticket online. Annual Pass holders pay only $5 for the book.
