Event Description

"Hotel Rwanda" is a powerful movie, based on true events, during the Rwandan genocide.

The Rwandan Genocide was an attack that took place during the Rwandan Civil War where as many as one million people were killed by armed Hutu militias. 

This film depicts the heroic efforts of a hotel manager who saved hundreds of lives amidst the chaos and violence.
