Event Description

Black hair is a birthright with a uniquely meaningful history as a symbol of survival, resistance, and celebration. 

Join Ahava Felicidad as they read stories on hair empowerment and lead participants in creating affirmation sheets.

This program takes place at the Vauxhall Branch Library and is best suited for ages 8 -18. 

Please register in advance so you can be contacted in case of cancellation. 

Registration takes place two weeks prior to the event.
