Event Description
New Jersey resident and author of "Women Win the Vote! 19 for the 19th Amendment," Nancy B. Kennedy, will present a slideshow of historic and current photos illustrating the 72-year fight for the women's vote.
Not only will you hear about the national fight, but you'll meet suffragists at the state and local level as well. Morristown women were eager to vote!
You'll never look at old black-and-white photos in the same way again.
These women led vibrant, colorful lives of purpose, and their legacy can spur on to activism in the current world today.
