Event Description

During Black History Month, the AACCNJ recognizes distinguished groups of African Americans that have attained a significant level of accomplishment in business, politics, education, sports and/or entertainment.

This year's theme "Leading the Way" is in recognition of the ancestral DNA of African Americans and those who courageously paved the way for past, present, and future generations of Black people in America. 

Additionally with attending this event, over 88,000 Black owned businesses in the state of NJ, are able to increase the visibility of their businesses.

Your ticket to this black carpet premiere event will include:

• Your own "black carpet" moment with a photographer to memorialize your attendance 
• 4 course meal with your personal choice of entree
• 5 hour open bar throughout the entirety of the event

Black History Month is an annual observance in February that celebrates the achievements and contributions of African Americans to American history, culture, and society. Established in 1926 by historian Carter G. Woodson; Black History Month reflects on the struggles, highlights the triumphs, and provides inspiration to future generations.
