Event Description

Join Latasha Waters of The Queen's Storehouse for a history presentation and head wrapping tutorial!

During this event we will explore:

  • The clothing's history
  • What it is
  • The way it's made
  • How it's worn
  • Why it's worn
  • Its overall cultural and/or religious significance

Apart from bringing your own head wrap for styling, if you want to create your headwrap: bring a hair tie and a 2-yard piece of cloth (thinner material will work better)
