Event Description

Dancing with the Blind is a 4-8 week program involving fitness and dance training, creativity, and an inclusive accessibility platform through descriptive choreography and movement.

Each team, consisting of at least one vision-impaired or blind individual and their sighted partner, produces a routine relative to their chosen music genre. This setup promotes awareness of the abilities of vision-impaired individuals and allows sighted partners to gain insights into the culture of blindness.

Community members are welcome to participate and the program includes group rehearsals, photo shoots, video diaries, and opportunities for all participants to build memorable bonds.

The program concludes with a performance in front of an audience to determine the ultimate winning team!
