Event Description
Discuss the most effective strategies and tools related to custody and visitation in cases with domestic violence.
Participants will learn and apply concepts of trauma-informed responses and procedural fairness.
This interactive training will increase the capacity of participants to identify and respond to domestic violence risk and lethality factors.
This program is open to:
- Superior Court Judges assigned to the Family Division (Essex County)
- Municipal Court Judges (Essex County)
- Domestic violence court staff
- Essex County Domestic Violence Working Group members
- Community partners working with survivors of domestic violence

Additional Information
This training will not offer CE/CLE credits but each participant that completes the training will receive a certificate of completion, verification of attendance hours and materials that can be submitted for education credits.
