Event Description

Discuss the most effective strategies and tools related to custody and visitation in cases with domestic violence.

Participants will learn and apply concepts of trauma-informed responses and procedural fairness. 

This interactive training will increase the capacity of participants to identify and respond to domestic violence risk and lethality factors.

This program is open to:

• Superior Court Judges assigned to the Family Division (Essex County)
• Municipal Court Judges (Essex County)
• Domestic violence court staff
• Essex County Domestic Violence Working Group members
• Community partners working with survivors of domestic violence
