Event Description

Join us for an exclusive culinary journey at Maricel's Kitchen, where we bring to you the vibrant and communal tradition of a Filipino Boodle Fight. This unique dining experience is by reservation only, offering an intimate exploration of Filipino culture and cuisine.

A Feast of Abundance:

Our Boodle Fight is a feast for the senses, featuring an extravagant spread of Filipino dishes served on large banana leaves (dahon ng saging). The table will overflow with an array of mouth-watering specialties such as grilled seafood (inihaw na isda at lamang dagat), succulent pork barbecue (inihaw na baboy), chicken adobo (adobong manok), and various regional delicacies.

Interactive Chef's Demo:

Our esteemed chef will demonstrate the preparation of select Filipino dishes, providing a chance to learn about the ingredients and techniques that make this cuisine so special. You'll witness the art of Filipino cooking and gain valuable tips to recreate these flavors at home.

Drinks and Desserts:

To complement your meal, you'll indulge in traditional Filipino drinks, including halo-halo and other classic desserts like leche flan and ube halaya to end your meal on a sweet note.

We invite you to experience the warmth and generosity of Filipino hospitality at Maricel's Kitchen. Immerse yourself in the flavors, traditions, and communal joy of a genuine Boodle Fight. Reserve your seat at our table for a memorable evening filled with food, learning, and laughter.

Maricel's Kitchen Cooking Classes

Maricel, an experienced chef with a deep-seated passion for Asian cuisines, is excited to guide you in your exploration of these mouthwatering dishes. Maricel's Kitchen Classes serve as an ideal opportunity for social events, from a girls' night out to gatherings with friends, or simply to sharpen your culinary skills and deepen your appreciation of food.

Classes are hands-on and interactive. Participants will receive their very own packet of recipes for the dishes they created. Maricel ends all her classes with everyone sitting down to enjoy the meal they just created. It is a perfect end to the event and gives everyone a chance to socialize and enjoy the fruits of their labor.

Classes start promptly. All participants should arrive about fifteen minutes early to check in and get settled. Due to limited space and the upfront costs of food, classes and events are only refundable 7 days before the event start date. If within 7 days of the event start date you are unable to attend, you are more than welcome to transfer your seat to someone else. The event organizer has the right to cancel class within 3 days of the event start date if a minimum of 3 attendees is not met. Should the class be cancelled, participants will be offered to select another cooking class of equal or lesser value.
