Event Description

Get ready for a profound documentary viewing followed by a discussion with Producer Luisa De La Ville.

"Children of Las Brisas" details the lives of three Venezuelan children from the impoverished Las Brisas neighborhood, who aspire to become professional musicians through "El Sistema" music program.

Over a decade, Edixon, Dissandra, and Wuilly confront their nation's turmoil, striving for a better future against the backdrop of a crisis. This narrative not only highlights their personal journeys but also the broader societal struggles under an autocratic regime.
