Event Description

The Harlem Renaissance was an explosion in creativity that transformed black history, and American culture.

Prior to the renaissance, there had never been so many people of all backgrounds reading the thoughts of African-Americans and embracing the black community's productions, expressions, and style in art, literature, music, dance, and theater.

This event is presented by Janet Mandel.
