Celebrate Juneteenth with a special concert by the Florian Schantz Jazz Combo, featuring the timeless music of Louis Armstrong. 

Revel in a performance that honors both the historical significance of Juneteenth and the cultural impact of one of the greatest African American entertainers. 

This event is not just a musical journey but also a tribute to the journey towards freedom and equality, symbolized by Juneteenth's rich history.

What is Juneteenth?

Juneteenth is a holiday celebrated on June 19th each year to commemorate the end of slavery in the United States. Juneteenth is celebrated with various community events throughout New Jersey, including business expos festivities honoring African-American culture and history. NJ legislation declares the third Friday in June as a paid state holiday, while a federal proclamation deems June 19 as a federal holiday.
