Event Description
Celebrate Women's History Month with Carol Simon Levin as she brings to life the pioneering NJ-born inventor, Sybilla Righton Masters.
Masters was the first person living in the American colonies to be given an English patent, and the first known female machinery inventor in America of European ancestry.
She is credited with inventing the newest corn mill of the time, but the patent had to be filed in her husband's name because she was a woman.
Listen to an inspiring journey honoring the ingenuity and resilience of these often overlooked trailblazers that reshaped our world.
Registration is required and will take place on Zoom.
