Event Description

Carol Simon Levin portrays Abigail Adams as she looks forward in time to tell the stories of tenacious women of all colors and creeds who fought to enhance women's political participation.

Adams, who famously wrote to her husband John asking that the Continental Congress "remember the ladies" was a driving force for pioneering female activists and politicians to work towards extending women's economic, social and political rights into the 21st century.

From the Seneca Falls Convention in 1848 to the 19th Amendment granting women the right to vote, it's important to "remember the ladies" that embraced change and affected history to support the future generations of women.
