Event Description
Experience an evening of genre-bending music as a collective of rising AAPI jazz artists brings traditional Asian songs and new compositions to life.
Led by trombonist Peter Lin, the ensemble blends cultural storytelling with jazz improvisation to deliver a sound that's both rooted and revolutionary.
Hear unique interpretations of classic pan-Asian music, plus fresh pieces from their upcoming album, "Identity."
The group features Mỹ Tâm Huynh on vocals, Peter Lin on trombone, Jasper Shogo Dutz on woodwinds, Mike Bond on piano, Wen-Ting Wu on drums, and Kevin Hsieh on bass.
Formed in 2019, the AAPI Jazz Collective continues to spotlight heritage, expression, and connection through powerful performances.
