Event Description

In this class, you'll learn haircutting by actually "seeing" theory. 

You'll be learning from string and ribbon visuals, photos, graphics, interactive workbooks, animations and demonstrations throughout this class

Theory Portion

Design: You'll learn how to design the perfect haircut for a client based on their face shape, head shape, hair type and lifestyle.

Mechanics: You'll learn and see different ways to execute your design such as elevation, overdirection, finger angles, sections and tension

Hands-on Portion

A hypothetical consultation will be given and the class will design the haircut and execute the process on their mannequin heads while explaining each step.

This class is for ambitious and self motivated Cosmetology students, experienced and newer stylists, educators, barbers, etc.

Be sure to bring: 

• uncut mannequin head with medium length hair
• tripod (no clamps please)
• scissors
• cutting comb
• 4 duckbill clips
• water bottle
• pen
