Event Description

Spend a day outdoors alongside like-minded educators to dive into how environmental education and social emotional learning go hand in hand.

This in depth workshop will provide the opportunity for you to develop a comfort level with tools and resources to help you adapt the five SEL Competencies in your classroom.

You will experience a "day in the life" of a student field trip that combines SEL and EE to cultivate future stewards of the earth. Leave feeling inspired and armed with easily adaptable activities and lessons.

We will explore the essential question: How can SEL and EE work together to create students with social emotional awareness and a desire to be stewards of the earth?

This workshop is most appropriate for educators who work with students in grades 4-12.

Teachers may earn up to 6 professional development hours upon completion of this workshop.
