Event Description

Celebrate New Jersey's STEM Month by constructing a sun clock to see the passage of time.

The sun clock is a device that tells time based on the position of the sun in the sky, offering an alternative and natural way to keep track of the day.

The history of the sun clock dates back centuries, tracing its origins to ancient civilizations like the Egyptians and Greeks who used it for timekeeping and navigation.

All materials will be provided and if the day is sunny, you can go outside and test it out right away!

This event is intended for ages 6 and older.
