Event Description
Portraits, a play celebrating people of color/leaders.
Taking a journey back to places and faces of the past to learn from our heroes/leaders who fought for our freedom, and to those who've picked up the torch to continue to fight for liberty.
Featuring classic spirituals such as "Wade in the Water", and "Before I'd Be a Slave", as well as additional songs penned specifically for the production.
Directed by Patrisha Gibson, Artistic Director of Visions the Performing Arts Center/VPAC.
