Event Description
An expert on our founding fathers and mothers, Joel Farkas, will weave the tale of Revolutionary War-era women from Matriarchal to Patriarchal.
He'll discuss when "women ruled, women who ruled" and highlight 25 women who broke the mold and proved men wrong.
Farkas has lectured extensively on the American Revolution, including insights on George Washington, the Founding Fathers, the war in New Jersey, the lesser-known heroes of the Revolution, and the role and impact of women during the war.
A collector of original historical autographs, Farkas is a graduate of Ohio State University and served as an officer in the United States Army.
The luncheon fee includes a three-course meal, coffee/tea, and gratuity.
