This May, More Jersey is recognizing and celebrating the culture and achievements of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
We proudly contribute the More Jersey AAPI Heritage Month Events Calendar, offering residents a central destination to discover New Jersey-based Asian American and Pacific Islander Month events.
This year's calendar offers a variety of events for residents of all ages to attend, including: film screenings, cultural performances, children storytimes, a comedy show, panel discussions, jazz concerts, cooking classes, craft workshops, and more.
We made it our mission to include events from all over New Jersey. We're proud to say this year's calendar includes events from 36 municipalities (10 counties).
In the calendar, residents will find many familiar organizations and institutions that have committed resources to organize, host, and/or sponsor this year's events, including: Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of NJ, Hoboken Public Library, The Institute of Jazz Studies Rutgers-Newark, Lakewood Public Library, AAPI Montclair, The Baird Center, and Princeton Public Library, to name a few.
With the vast variety of events and many venues, we aim to inspire residents to hop on the highway or take NJ Transit to travel to new places and meet new people.
