Introducing the 2024
NJ Black History Month
Events Calendar

Diverse group of New Jersey residents engaged at panel discussion presentation event.

More Jersey joins the State of New Jersey in recognition and celebration of the achievements and contributions of African Americans throughout history and within our communities today.

We proudly contribute a NJ Black History Month Events Calendar, offering residents a central destination to discover over 200 local Black History Month events.

The calendar offers a variety of events for residents of all ages to attend, including: plays, panel discussions, galas, art exhibits, open mics, cooking classes, concerts, film festivals, brunches, faith-based, and wellness events.

Black history is
New Jersey history!
As people of color, we've contributed to virtually every aspect
of the State of New Jersey.

We made it our mission to include events from all over New Jersey. We're proud to say, this year's calendar includes events from 63 municipalities (15 counties).

Residents will find familiar organizations and entities in the calendar including: Arts Council of Princeton, NJPAC, Rutgers African-American Alumni Alliance, Central Jersey Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Jersey City Dept. of Recreation & Youth Development, Cherry Hill Mall, to name a few.

With the vast variety and locations, we hope to inspire residents to travel to new places and meet new people.

Best of all, we will attend a portion of the events to both partake in the festivities, and capture this year's experiences to create a 2024 NJ Black History Month highlight video.

Our team is hard at work, to complete our first ever NJ Women's History Month Events Calendar for March.
