This March, More Jersey is recognizing and celebrating the achievements and pivotal roles women have played to inspire and shape our local communities and our country.

We proudly contribute the More Jersey Women's History Month Events Calendar, offering residents a central destination to discover more than 120 New Jersey-based Women's History Month events.

This year's calendar offers a variety of events for residents of all ages to attend, including: support groups, self-defense classes, business conferences, brunches, live performances, prenatal programs, plays, meditation circles, and more.

I had no idea there were so many events for women and girls to attend this month.

We made it our mission to include events from all over New Jersey. We're proud to say this year's calendar includes events from 64 municipalities (15 counties).

In the calendar, residents will find many familiar organizations and institutions that have committed resources to organize, host, and/or sponsor this year's events, including: The Garden State Bar Association, New Jersey Black Women's Collective, Cherry Hill Public Library, South Orange-Maplewood Adult School, Princeton Medical Center, Pinelands Family Success Center, and McCarterTheatre, to name a few.

With the vast variety of events and many venues, we aim to inspire residents to hop on the highway or take NJ Transit to travel to new places and meet new people.

What's Next

Our team is hard at work, building out the More Jersey Giving Opportunities section of our website to include more nonprofits dedicated to empowering women and girls throughout New Jersey.

Join us in making this year's Women's History Month a time for truly honoring the contributions of women of the past and present, while inspiring a commitment to women's empowerment year round.
