Gift Guidelines

As the vast majority of the selected recipients are facing some degree of financial hardship, we want to be intentional in providing gifts that will be uplifting and inspirational. We also would like to highlight gift items that support and stimulate learning and potential career ambitions.

In efforts to impact as many NJ residents as possible, we are not limiting gifts to only youth, but also teenagers, young adults, adults, and gifts for the entire family.

In short, each gift must be new, appropriate, and should provide inspiration. Our goal is to relay to each recipient that they deserve a happy holiday, they matter, the community cares about them, and next year is going to be better and brighter!

Bringing a Gift

All gift items must be new, unwrapped, and follow our gift guidelines. 

Though we strongly recommend purchasing items from one of our Amazon Wish Lists for inventory purposes, we will also accept gifts purchased and physically delivered to the event.

Prohibited Gift Items 

We made a list we've ironically dubbed the "Naughty List" featuring items we will not accept:

• Astrology-related
• Weapons (toy or real)
• Clothing
• Jewelry
• Political paraphernalia
• Culturally insensitive items
• Expensive items (single items valued over $100)
